Match Day

We are honored to be selected to participate in the

Emporia Community Foundation's 2024 Match Day.

Award amounts are based on the amount donated to each qualifying organization. The more that is designated for CCOSDD, the larger the percentage of matching funds we receive. There are multiple ways to donate through EFC.

1. Make your check payable to EFC. Date it between Oct. 7 & Nov. 18, 2024. Earmark it for CCOSDD. Mail it to: CCOSDD PO Box 66 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.

2. Go to the ECF website emporiamatchday.com any time from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Monday, November 18, and make your donation.

3. Take your donation on Monday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to the ECF drive thru at 527 Commercial St. Ste B Emporia, KS 66801, being sure to designated CCOSDD as the recipient.

WE ARE NOW TAKING ON OUR GREATEST FINANCIAL CHALLENGE

– heating and air conditioning for the gymnasium, which has never had air conditioning and had obsolete steam heat, and for two more classrooms.

According to multiple estimates, the electrical upgrades needed and the HVAC will cost over $200,000. Without these upgrades the gymnasium becomes nearly useless in summer and in winter. We can not accomplish this goal with current funds so we are asking for your help.
